Free School Meals - Updated

Dear Parents and Carers,

Re: Obtaining and Redeeming Your Child’s Free School Meal Food Voucher Entitlement

Kingsford Community School has contacted the parents and carers of all pupils whose school records show that they are entitled to Free School Meals. The parents of these pupils have been advised of how to obtain food vouchers to provide meals for their child during the COVID 19 school closure. The school is pleased that the national food voucher scheme ensures that all pupils who are entitled to free school meals can continue to receive their meal entitlement.

The Free School Meal Vouchers being issued via the national food voucher scheme, are provided for those children whose parents or carers are eligible for specific benefits from the Benefits Agency. The food vouchers that are being issued can be used at any of the following supermarkets: Aldi, Asda, M&S food, McColls, Morrisons, Sainsbury’s, Tesco, Waitrose.

If for any reason you have not received the school communications about how to obtain the food vouchers and you believe that your child is entitled to free school meals, please contact the school for advice and guidance via the following email address:
