GCSE Results day
Re: Year 11 GCSE Examination Results Day - Thursday 23 August 2018
I am writing to inform you about the arrangements for the GCSE examination results day on Thursday 23rd August 2018.
The school will be open to students from 10.30 a.m. until 12.30 p.m. for students to collect their GCSE examination results.
Your child should enter the school via the main entrance and proceed to the Assembly Hall, where GCSE results will be available in a sealed envelope from staff who will be located at tables arranged in alphabetical order.
If your child is unable to come to collect their results in person, a family member can collect the GCSE examination results up on their behalf. However the person MUST have signed written permission from the student in order to be able to receive the results. The person collecting the results must bring photo ID such as a driving licence or passport to confirm their identity.
In addition, a Careers Advisor and Further Education Colleges will be available to offer further advice and guidance to students regarding their Post 16 destinations on the examination results day.
If you have any queries before the results day, please do not hesitate to Ms Zaman, Assistant Headteacher at firstname.lastname@example.org
The school very much looks forward to celebrating the culmination of five years hard work with your child and wish them every success for the future as they embark on their Post 16 Choices.
Please note that the actual GCSE certificates, will be received by the school at a later date and will be formally presented to Year 11 students at the GCSE Certificate Evening. You will receive further details about this in October 2018.
