Kingsford Community School

Kingsford Community School is proud to announce the excellent GCSE results of our Year 11 pupils. Warmest congratulations to all of the class of 2020!

This has been a hugely challenging year with many unforeseen and unexpected circumstances that Year 11 pupils have had to contend with due to the Coronavirus pandemic. Kingsford is delighted with the resilience, determination and commitment that Year 11 have displayed throughout this time.

Students across all ability ranges have made excellent progress with many examples of exceptional achievement. There has been a significant increase in GCSE grades awarded at Grades 7 - 9, as well as substantial increases in the number of students achieving strong and standard passes in both English and Maths.

Whilst nationally Year 11 pupils did not sit public examinations this summer, the results that Kingsford pupils have received are an accurate reflection of their work, progress and school achievements. Kingsford is delighted that the school is once again seeing a great set of GCSE results from our fantastic students following a detailed and rigorous process. Our pupils have developed their scholarship, citizenship and love of learning whilst at Kingsford Community School. We wish them the very best as they now embark on their Post 16 studies with confidence and assurance due to the strong foundation they have laid through their studies at Kingsford.

These GCSE results reflect the position of the school as one which provides excellent academic and personal development outcomes for its young people. This is a significant factor as to why the school is the number one choice for the local community and is one that is respected as an exceptional school community where young people thrive and flourish.
