GCSE certification collection
Dear Kingsford student,
Re: Collection of GCSE Examination Certificates Monday 12th July 2021
Kingsford Community School is inviting you to collect your GCSE Examination Certificates on Monday 12th July 2021. It is essential that you collect your certificates in person as the qualification provider does not permit certificates to be posted to pupils’ home addresses. You will be required to provide signed confirmation that you have received your GCSE certificates when you collect them.
The arrangements for collection are as follows:
- Only former Kingsford pupils are permitted to collect their GCSE documents.
- Collection is only available on Monday 12th July 2021.
- Please arrive between either of the following time frames:
- 9.00 a.m. – 12.00 p.m.
- 3.00 p.m. – 5.00 p.m.
Upon arrival, please report to the school reception. We ask that you take appropriate measures to prevent the spread of Covid-19 at all times by observing social distancing, sanitising your hands on entering the building and wearing a face mask whilst on the school site.
In line with the school’s archiving policy, GCSE certificates that are not collected will be securely retained at Kingsford Community School for 12 months and then confidentially destroyed thereafter. Exam boards do not reissue certificates as a rule. Individuals will be required to apply directly to exam boards for statements of grades and pay the appropriate fee where relevant, if the GCSE certificates are not collected, or if they are misplaced or lost. Therefore, after the certificates are issued, it is important that you keep them safe as you may be asked to produce them for many years from now.
Should you require any further information, please contact the school by email at firstname.lastname@example.org
Thank you for your support and co-operation in this matter.
